Fabrication & Panel Business Development Manager

Are you an expert in the fabrication shop environment who thrives on securing new partnerships? We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to expand our custom metal fabrication and UL-certified control panel operations, serving industrial clients nationwide. This position is ideal for a professional who can engage in technical discussions with engineers while collaborating with our internal staff to finalize agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Analyze technical drawings and specifications to help our Estimating team generate competitive and accurate bids.
  • Cultivate long‑term account growth to ensure we remain the preferred partner for fabrication and panel solutions.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by attending industry trade shows and visiting client facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system to provide reliable sales forecasting.
Required Qualifications
  • Three to five years of B2B sales or business development experience specifically within metal fabrication, control panels, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of metal fabrication and control panel assembly, including familiarity with ASME standards and UL 508A requirements.
  • A documented history of identifying, qualifying, and securing new business to consistently meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, paired with strong organizational skills and a self‑driven work ethic.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office, along with the ability to travel to client sites across the Southeast.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or marketing.
  • Established professional network or existing client base within the industrial, OEM, or process manufacturing sectors.
  • Previous success in driving new business development within a custom fabrication or job‑shop environment.
Compensation and Schedule

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Wellford, SC. The standard work week is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with required travel as necessary.
