Dilmar Oil Company is a family-owned business operating since 1932 as a petroleum and lubricant distributor. Dilmar distributes various lubricants, oils, greases, and other petroleum products as well as fluid reclamation services. Continues to be one of the largest Lubricant Distributors in the Southeast.

Industrial Business Development Managers are a very important part of the Dilmar team. This position is accountable for the overall industry sales performance of their assigned sales district which will include some of South Carolina and Georgia. The areas to be covered in South Carolina are to include Columbia, Charleston, Florence and Latta. The areas to be covered in Georgia include Savannah and Ludowici.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer needs and offer solutions to enable customers to view Dilmar Oil Company as a business partner.
  • Develop business targets and plan business development strategy for assigned Sales District.
  • Develop key direct industrial business within assigned Sales District.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key accounts and prospective customers.
  • Achieve sales districts business growth and profitability objectives.
  • Maintain accurate database of customers and new business activity, using CRM tool Net Suite.
  • Work closely with all company departments to achieve sales districts budgeted growth objectives
  • Work closely with others to ensure overall Industrial growth in assigned area.
  • Attend Industry events and trade shows as needed.
  • Other duties and activities management deems appropriate to ensure results
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in industrial sales
  • May require weekend travel for sales events
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative
  • Proficient with MS Suite tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Holds MLT/MLA Certification or willing to obtain one
