Position Summary

The Member Experience & Community Coordinator is often the first impression of our facility and plays a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for every athlete and family. This position blends sales, customer service, marketing, operations, and community engagement into one dynamic role.

What You’ll Do Membership Sales & Lead Management
  • Respond promptly to all new leads through phone, text, email, and CRM.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand each athlete's goals.
  • Explain D1 Training programs, memberships, and personal training options.
  • Schedule assessments, trial workouts and facility tours.
  • Consistently convert prospects into members through relationship‑based selling.
  • Follow up on all prospective members until a decision is made.
  • Help achieve monthly membership and revenue goals.
Member Experience
  • Welcome every athlete and family with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Create a positive, high-energy environment from the moment members walk through the door.
  • Answer questions regarding memberships, scheduling, billing and programming.
  • Build relationships that increase retention and member satisfaction.
  • Assist with membership changes, freezes, upgrades, and renewals.
  • Resolve member concerns with empathy and urgency.
  • Celebrate member milestones and successes.
Administrative Operations
  • Manage front desk operations and daily administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate member records within the CRM.
  • Process memberships, payments, agreements and account updates.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly.
  • Maintain facility organization and presentation.
  • Assist the General Manager with daily operational needs.
Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Create flyers, promotional materials, newsletters and other marketing collateral.
  • Assist with social media content by capturing photos and videos during training sessions and events.
  • Coordinate community outreach initiatives and partnership opportunities.
  • Build relationships with local schools, youth organizations, sports teams, and businesses.
  • Represent D1 at community events, expos, tournaments, and promotional activities.
  • Help execute seasonal campaigns and member appreciation events.
Event Coordination
  • Assist in planning and executing camps, combines, clinics, competitions, and special events.
  • Coordinate event logistics and registration.
  • Help recruit participants through outbound calls and community outreach.
  • Ensure every event delivers an exceptional athlete and family experience.
What We’re Looking For

  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls and asking for the sale.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Canva and social media platforms.
  • Willingness to work evenings and every other Saturday.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of customer service, sales, hospitality, or fitness industry experience.
  • Experience with membership sales or consultative selling.
  • Marketing or event planning experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with youth athletes or sports organizations is preferred.
Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days, you will:
  • Become proficient in explaining all D1 Training programs and memberships.
  • Consistently respond to new leads within established response time goals.
  • Achieve membership sales and conversion expectations.
