We are searching for the best talent for a Regional Business Director GU covering the Southeast Region. The Regional Business Director is a field-based leadership role accountable for leading and developing a team of District Managers (DMs) and Sales Specialists with sales responsibilities across Johnson & Johnson accounts, while collaborating with cross-disciplinary partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, mentor, develop, and retain a team of District Managers and Sales Specialists with varied strengths in the oncology business, healthcare marketplace, and account management.
- Prioritize opportunities and help the team improve results by securing and applying resources.
- Develop and execute an aligned business plan that delivers compliant product sales growth and volume objectives while addressing customer and marketplace needs.
- Collaborate with internal partners (Sales Leadership, Brand, Strategic Customer Group, Pricing Strategy, Commercial Excellence) and external partners to develop optimal access and establish relationships and operating networks.
- Coach others to achieve outcomes that are customer-centric and responsible, building mutual alignment and navigating difficult positions.
- Set overall account goals and oversee account metrics and business performance.
All responsibilities are carried out with strict adherence to the J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license issued in one of the United States
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience with at least five (5) years in cross-functional roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development) within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry
- Prior people management experience
- Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high-performing, diverse teams
- Ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight/weekend travel
- Cross-functional experience beyond sales, including in-line or strategic marketing
- Regional focus on the Southeastern United States
- Healthcare industry experience, including pharmaceuticals
- Prior sales experience as a professional representative or District Manager
- Oncology/Solid Tumor experience; GU Cancer experience is a plus
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, with practical application
- Experience building AI literacy within a team and promoting responsible AI use
