Loan Officer – Bilingual in English & Spanish Job Description

As a Field Loan Officer at Lennar Mortgage, your role will be centered on establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and homebuilding associates through face‑to‑face interactions. You will conduct on‑site meetings, engage directly with customers, home‑building associates, and referral sources. Your primary responsibilities include assessing financial data, guiding customers on mortgage products, and seamlessly facilitating the loan process in adherence to the Lennar Mortgage roadmap.

• Business Development and Customer Relations – Strategize and implement outside sales activities to actively contribute to company growth, lead generation through prospecting, community visits, hosting "First Time Homebuyer Seminars," and participating in builder and realtor functions.
• Customer-Centric Approach – Offer tailored mortgage recommendations, review and lock interest rates, and maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and company regulations.
• Lead Management and Communication – Daily review of leads and proactive outreach to prospective customers via telephone and email to schedule meetings; ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Loan Origination and Advisory – Originate and prepare new loans, adhere to regulations, provide personalized advice, and recommend suitable mortgage loan products.
• Sales Support, Metrics, and Reporting – Assist New Home Consultants with pre-qualifications, contribute to pipeline development, meet or exceed closed loan capture rates, maintain detailed reports within the origination system.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent; four‑year college degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of loan originating experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Active NMLS license and specific state license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
• Fluency in Spanish (speaking and writing) preferred.
• Self-starter, able to work independently.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard mortgage industry software and tools.

Regular, in-person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. Requires ability to work over eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment that may exceed 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment;

finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
