Outside Sales Rep - Cabinetry & Millwork

We are seeking an outgoing and motivated Outside Sales Representative with experience in Cabinetry and Millwork to join a growing team and exciting new opportunity. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys building partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and helping customers find the right solutions.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting a diverse range of cabinetry and millwork products while managing an assigned territory. This position will involve developing strong relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and customers through regular in-person visits, proactive outreach, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential
  • Manage sale from start to install, take field and final measurements, coordinate with contractors and trades as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively adapt sales strategies and capitalize on market opportunities
  • Identify and develop prospects and establish new business
  • Presents estimates/proposals to new and existing customers and follows up to close sale
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share
  • Ensure exceptional customer service, timely resolution of customer issues, and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction levels
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of Outside Sales or direct to contractor sales experience with Cabinetry and/or Millwork
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and cabinet layouts
  • Experienced in cabinetry design, field & final measurements
  • Must demonstrate reliability, efficiency and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Cabinetry software
  • Ability to recognize the client's needs and sell within the catalog of products
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
