Job Overview
Bowers Ace Hardware is looking for a self‑motivated individual of high character to join our sales team as an outside sales representative. The role focuses on driving Paint Department sales in the Johns Island Market using the Benjamin Moore paint product portfolio, competitively priced paint supplies, and sundries. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to professional contractors, ensuring profitable and sustainable market‑share growth in the general Johns Island/Charleston area.

Orchestrate incentives and learning opportunities for customers and vendors to educate and support them. - Solution selling:
Increase paint department sales through value propositions and solution‑based selling, cultivating sustainable business relationships. - Conflict resolution:
Handle on‑site conflicts to earn trust and support from customers. - Qualify profitable customers:
Identify business prospects that provide sustainable, profitable opportunities for Bowers Ace.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with public speaking, negotiation, and active listening.
- Experience with cold calling and approaching prospective customers at job sites to build relationships.
- Self‑motivated with strong accountability sense.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred to reside in the greater Columbia area.
- Willingness to travel daily within the territory to meet contractors and deliver paint supplies.
