Our client is hiring a Sales Engineer in Greenville, SC to support their custom automation business. They build assembly and test systems for major automotive customers, as well as clients in the consumer and energy sectors.

The Sales Engineer will drive new business in the axle segment of the NAFTA automotive market
, expanding their presence by leveraging its reputation for high-quality automation solutions.

• Generate and grow new sales within the axle and automotive automation market
• Develop and manage customer relationships and sales strategies
• Visit customer sites to define automation concepts and opportunities
• Collaborate with technical teams to prepare proposals
• Achieve annual sales targets and manage key accounts

• 5+ years of experience selling custom automation solutions
• Leadership ability
• Experience in systems integration / automation environments
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to develop and close new business
• Strategic, self-driven, and customer-focused mindset
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic & international)
