The Department of Exercise Science is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the successful implementation of several Arnold Healthy Kids Initiative research projects. Working under general supervision, the Program Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the studies by assisting with project planning, participant recruitment and retention, staff coordination, data collection activities, and regulatory compliance. The position plays a key role in maintaining project timelines, monitoring study quality, preparing Institutional Review Board (IRB ) materials, and tracking research progress.

The Program Coordinator will collaborate closely with investigators, research staff, and community partners to ensure projects are conducted efficiently, meet established milestones, and adhere to study protocols and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a collaborative professional with strong organizational, communication, and project management skills who is passionate about supporting high-quality research.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Expertise in the use of computers and the Internet.
  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Experience or interest working with young children.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with parents, community partner personnel, children, and the community at large.
