The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) seeks a Phytoplankton Biologist to support the HAB and Periphyton programs. You will conduct field work, in-field analyses, and laboratory processing of chlorophyll-a and algal toxins, contributing to statewide water-quality objectives.
Ideal candidates will have a degree in natural or physical sciences, strong microscopy skills, and experience with surface-water sampling, Excel, and report writing.
