** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and/or exit logs.

+ Operate access control systems such as badge readers, gates, and visitor management tools, and report irregular activity according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access disputes, and requests for assistance, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as building entrances, parking lots, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

+ Complete detailed reports on access activity, incidents, and shift handoffs, and communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site management.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
