- Enforce criminal laws of South Carolina, protecting Self Regional Healthcare property, personnel, patients and visitors.
- Actively observe for fire and safety hazards.
- Promote optimal public relations with patients and visitors.
- Conduct and document all incidents and unusual occurrences.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies doing business at SRH.
- Must be 21 years of age, able to pass all SLED requirements and all Self Regional Healthcare requirements.
- Evidence of high school diploma or GED.
- Two years experience in security or related field; healthcare environment preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
- Maintains a current unrestricted South Carolina driver's license.
- Meets criteria established by SRH fleet insurance carrier to be a qualified vehicle operator.
- Skilled in computer use.
- Two years experience in firearms and able to pass annual firearm range qualification.
