As a Security Officer Armed in Effingham, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security‑related incidents, and support people with outstanding communication and customer service. Job Schedule

Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM;
Thur 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Fri 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Sat 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, remaining prepared for varied working environments and conditions.
- Serve in an armed post, carrying authorized equipment in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal guidelines while helping to deter unwanted activity.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
