Job Description  As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more.
As a member of the Allied Universal team in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding to alarm panels as needed.

You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure and orderly environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
