, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, identification verification, and other security‑related policies for a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and/or vehicles as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of post orders and security‑related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with supervisors and/or appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and reporting findings according to site procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs, badge records, and incident reports, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate in accordance with site‑specific instructions.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
