Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Tue: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Sun: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entrances, verify identification and authorization, and help to control the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries through designated access points.
- Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or security‑related concerns.
- Support intake and visitor processing functions by following post orders, maintaining required logs, and reporting suspicious behavior, prohibited items, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
- Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
