, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a government location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support daily operations with professional communication and strong attention to detail. This is a driving post. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entrances, verify identification and authorization, and help to control the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries through designated access points.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or security‑related concerns.
• Support intake and visitor processing functions by following post orders, maintaining required logs, and reporting suspicious behavior, prohibited items, and/or unauthorized access attempts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
