USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Provide supervision, care and correctional treatment of inmates and guidance to lower-graded Correctional Officers;
Enforce rules and regulations governing facility security, inmate accountability and inmate conduct;
Participate in emergencies and potential use of force to maintain control of inmates;
Work long and irregular hours including Sundays and holidays as needed;
Promote health, welfare and safety within the correctional facility
