Safety and Security Officer | MUSC Health Chester

Location: Chester

Medical University of South Carolina -  - Responsibilities:
Patrols buildings, checks for unsafe conditions, fire checks, prowlers, vandalism, and other unusual occurrences;
Makes rounds of assigned area at least three times during shifts and writes reports and logs of issues found and operational duties;
Promptly responds to emergencies and interacts with other care team members, patients, and visitors during normal activities while on shift;
Monitors alarm activations and video camera systems for potential security and safety issues and investigations of incidents with complete reports and recommendations sent to supervision;
Demonstrates courteous attitude and ability to verbally de-escalate situations as they arise, leading to possible physical management if necessary
