Allied Universal - - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and public responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns;
Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures;
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and applicable armed post requirements
