Part Time Pay Rate: $18.78 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
