Security Officer

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a hospital environment. In this role, you will patrol facilities, monitor entrances and exits, and ensure a safe, secure setting for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include access control, visitor screening, incident response, report writing, and enforcing hospital safety policies. You will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams, use security technology and communication devices, and respond calmly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital facilities and grounds to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points
• Screen and assist visitors, patients, and vendors
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
• Write clear, accurate incident and activity reports
• Enforce hospital safety, security, and visitor policies
• Operate radios, surveillance systems, and other security technology
• Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency responders
• Support crowd control and patient/visitor escorts as needed
• Follow Allied Universal and hospital procedures and post orders
