What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned systems; verify credentials and follow established procedures for visitor management and restricted-area access.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least two years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
