As a Security Guard Unarmed – Access Observation in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
