Mission

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Flagger in Duncan, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Labor job duties are continually changing depending on the requirements of each project. Qualified candidates are expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Must have knowledge of the requirements of erecting and maintaining traffic control signs and other devices as prescribed in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
  • Must keep equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly at all times on the projects.
  • Must be able to carry out detailed instructions, setting up and removing traffic control devices, but also must be able to use good judgement in decision making and be able to work without direct supervision.
  • Must maintain a good attitude and be polite at all times to motorists.
  • Must have the ability to work safely in traffic situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred), but not necessarily required.
  • 1-3 months of work-related experience and/or training (preferred).
  • Must be able to work day or night shifts.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Provide own transportation to and from work.
  • Driving License (preferred).
  • Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States.
Certifications
  • Flagger/Traffic Control Training Certification (preferred).
