The Electrician is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical components, including electrical distribution equipment, breakers, panels, motors, HVAC controls, access and locking systems, security cameras, recorders, and network devices. This position plays a key role in maintaining system reliability while supporting both daily operations and long-term infrastructure improvements.
Primary Duties- Install, troubleshoot, program, repair, and modify electrical distribution systems and related equipment.
- Maintain and repair HVAC controls, access control boards, locking systems, and third‑party security devices.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and technical documentation.
- Provide technical coordination and serve as a client liaison for major and minor repairs, upgrades, and system improvement projects.
- Provide on‑site technical leadership and oversight to lower‑level technical staff, temporary employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to emergency, weekend, or hazardous weather call‑backs as required.
- This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies.

- Knowledgeable of electronic systems.
- Ability to understand and follow written work orders and oral instructions.
- Ability to react positively to emergency situations.

- Ability to read wiring schematics.
- 5 years experience in the electrical trade.
- Trade School or Apprenticeship preferred.
- Electrical License in the State of South Carolina.
- Working knowledge of tools and specialized equipment used in the electrical trade.
