Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and control systems, with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting various industrial equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and service skills to ensure optimal performance of our systems and equipment.

Duties
  • Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, sensors, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to guide maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance using tools like AutoCAD for design modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Skills
  • Proficiency in hydraulics and mechanical knowledge relevant to industrial maintenance.
  • Experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes for various sensors and instruments.
  • Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS) and vision inspection systems.
  • Ability to work with CNC machinery and utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
