Monday
- Friday, Saturday Rotation - 8 AM - 5 PM

Saturday (Rotation) - 8 AM- 12 PM

Compensation: $20.10 - $30.55 (Based on Experience)

Your Role:
Farm Equipment Technician

As a Trailers, Trucks and Tractors Mechanic
, you will play a critical role in repairing and maintaining tractors, trailers, and trucks at our Pelion Fleet Shop
. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
, ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

What You'll Do:

• Repair and maintain company tractors and/or trailers using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engine, driveline, and ABS-related issues
• Examine parts for defects and excessive wear
  , replacing or reconditioning as needed
• Diagnose electrical circuits using computer-based software diagnostic programs and printed wiring schematics
• Perform routine maintenance checks
  , including brake systems, wheel bearings, electrical systems, and air systems
• Set up and use cutting, welding, and metal fabrication equipment to complete trailer repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

Technical school degree and/or previous tractor/trailer repair experience
Valid Driver's License required
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Strong oral and written communication skills

Work Environment:

• Varied temperatures - May work in hot or cold environments
• Exposure to loud noise in an industrial setting
• Standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling required on concrete flooring
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitively and overhead
• Must climb on/off trailers throughout the shift
