Industrial Door Technician

This person will be responsible for performing various types of maintenance, upkeep and replacing parts on personnel and roll-up doors in and around an industrial facility.

• Service and maintain Dock levelers, edge of docks, lift tables, dock pads and
• Perform PM’s for the
• Participate in PM optimization activities.
• Service several hundred personal doors: fire, glass, pocket, sliding, revolving, card access, automatic, and hydraulic operated.
• Service and maintain dozens of roll-up
• Assist with establishing and maintaining critical spares as needed.
• Manage Fire door PM’s and create PM schedule and protocols for fire
• Manage and determine sub-contractors when appropriate and oversee and help complete
• Repair and maintain motorized security gates and gate arms.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of
• Must have experience working with Industrial/Commercial
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively, operate moving equipment and work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a group setting.
• Candidate may be required to pass a drug test and criminal background check based on job location/requirements.
