Join our team and help keep our rental property running smoothly! We're looking for a skilled, hands‑on Maintenance Technician who’s ready to tackle challenges, solve problems, and make a real impact for our residents.
About the RoleAs our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go‑to expert for repairs, upkeep, and service requests. From HVAC troubleshooting to appliance fixes, you’ll ensure our property stays safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders efficiently.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems; conduct seasonal upkeep.
- Repair or replace appliances (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers).
- Handle plumbing tasks: leaks, clogs, and minor installations.
- Perform basic electrical repairs and lighting replacements.
- Maintain locks, deadbolts, and perform minor carpentry and painting.
- Prepare units for new residents with Make Ready services.
- Keep the grounds clean.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain a hazard‑free work environment.
- Be on‑call for after‑hours emergencies.
- Attend training as needed to stay sharp and up‑to‑date.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 1–2 years maintenance experience (required)
- HVAC/EPA certification (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Clear communication skills – verbal and written
- Basic tech/computer skills
