As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the maintenance support team, ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and supporting client needs. Job Title: Facilities Technician 3

Location: Columbia, SC

Pay Rate: $34/hr

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems across multiple commercial properties.
  • Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical distribution, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Execute work orders efficiently using CMMS technology with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct facility inspections and assessments, reporting conditions that impact client operations.
  • Support building envelope maintenance, interior/exterior repairs, grounds, and parking lot systems as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Universal EPA/CFC certification (required).
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
