Porter / Yard Worker

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a dedicated Porter/Yard Worker responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment, maintaining maintenance schedules, servicing equipment as needed, and inspecting items before and after rental to document any lost or damaged equipment.

• Station equipment on the location's property and retrieve it as required.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and perform necessary repairs to ensure equipment meets all specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental to document any loss or damage.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in mechanical equipment repair preferred.

• Effective written and verbal communication with customers.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Strong safety focus.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 22.55 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
