As our commercial service division continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Plumber to join our Columbia team. Position Summary

As a Commercial Service Plumber, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing systems across a variety of commercial facilities, including schools, healthcare facilities, office buildings, retail centers, and industrial properties.

This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, water distribution issues, and system failures
• Install, maintain, and replace piping, fixtures, valves, water heaters, and related plumbing components
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in a safe, professional, and timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance to help customers avoid costly downtime and repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing schematics
• Collaborate with service coordinators, project teams, and fellow technicians to ensure efficient job completion
• Accurately document service work, materials used, recommendations, and labor hours
• Maintain compliance with all company safety standards, local codes, and industry regulations
• Build positive relationships with customers through outstanding communication and service

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid South Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments, including rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, and outdoor job sites

Preferred

• South Carolina Journeyman or Master Plumbing License
• Experience working in healthcare, education, municipal, or commercial office facilities
• Backflow certification or other industry certifications
• Familiarity with digital service reporting and mobile field technology
