Plumber
As a plumber, you will be responsible for installing and ensuring the proper layout, slope, and code compliance of various plumbing systems. You will also assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot venting systems for efficient and safe operation. Your role will involve working with copper piping, including cutting, soldering, brazing, and repairs, as well as installing and repairing cast iron systems using proper joining methods and tools.
Additionally, you will perform above-ground plumbing installations for new construction and remodels and handle underground plumbing work, including sewer, water, and drainage systems. You will interpret blueprints and job specifications to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
Responsibilities
- Install and ensure proper layout, slope, and code compliance of plumbing systems.
- Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot venting systems for efficient and safe operation.
- Work with copper piping, including cutting, soldering, brazing, and repairs.
- Install and repair cast iron systems using proper joining methods and tools.
- Perform above-ground plumbing installations for new construction and remodels.
- Handle underground plumbing work, including sewer, water, and drainage systems.
- Interpret blueprints and job specifications to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience performing underground rough-in work, including layout and installation of sanitary, storm, and water lines per project specifications.
- Strong experience with in-wall rough-ins, including accurate installation of piping, supports, and fixtures during early construction phases.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, and specifications with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in job site layout, including measuring, marking, and installing using a tape measure and other layout tools.
- Solid understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and coordination with other trades during rough-in stages.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Plumbing or OSHA certifications preferred, but not required.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
