This full-time Master/Journeyman Electrician role is a hybrid position based in the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, documentation, and coordination tasks. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including solar and renewable lighting installations, LED retrofits, and associated controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing electrical wiring and conduit work, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.

The role also involves interpreting technical drawings and schematics, collaborating with project managers and other technicians, maintaining accurate records of work performed, and supporting continuous improvement of installation and service practices.

• Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical principles, including safe work practices and applicable codes.
• Proficiency in electrical work such as wiring, conduit installation, panel work, and integration of renewable energy systems.
• Experience with maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including routine inspections and preventive care.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues and diagnosing faults in complex systems and equipment.
• Background in electrical engineering concepts relevant to power distribution, controls, and renewable technologies.
• Valid Master or Journeyman Electrician license (state-recognized), and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Comfort working at heights and in varying field conditions, with adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project teams and clients.
• Prior experience with solar installations, LED retrofits, or energy-efficiency projects is highly beneficial.
