Job Responsibilities
- Develops general maintenance and repair program throughout the facility.
- Provides assistance in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration maintenance and repair program.
- Supervises and completes general maintenance, construction, and renovation projects for facility.
- Establishes on-call procedures to respond to emergency general maintenance repair calls.
- Assists in Emergency HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair calls and assures the work is promptly and properly performed.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
Minimum And Additional RequirementsState of South Carolina
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma and trades experience related to the area of employment. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis for basis.

A high school diploma and 3 years professional experience in institutional general maintenance construction and repair.
