Job Description:

Primary Mission A craftsman with extensive skill and experience in the area of concrete. The finisher will generally have a specific tool inventory and may need direction to perform more advanced tasks. Main Responsibilities Places concrete to final line and grade with the appropriate finish. Able to point and patch concrete after forms are removed, involving working above ground safely, while on falsework, ladders, and/or scissor lifts.

Able to perform carpentry work as needed between placing and finishing task. Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the company's policies. Must be able to work off the ground and handle materials and equipment up to 80 lbs. Any other task assigned by supervisor.

EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum of 2+ years in the concrete phase of bridge/heavy highway construction. LANGUAGE

SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL

SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
