Pipe Layer

Wayne Brothers Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pipe Layer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will specialize in laying and joining pipes for water, sewer, and drainage systems, following precise specifications and guidelines. As a part of our company, you will contribute to projects that demand the highest standards of quality and innovation in civil and infrastructure construction.

Responsibilities

• Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
• Cover pipes with earth or other materials.
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
• Cut pipes to required lengths.
• Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment at the job site.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for pipe laying, including levels, lasers, pipe cutters, and welders.
• Basic understanding of construction, plumbing, or relevant field.
