C.R. Jackson is hiring an experienced Asphalt Screed Operator to join our paving crew. This position is essential to achieving smooth, high-quality riding surfaces and meeting our high standards for craftsmanship.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and understands that quality paving is a team effort.

• Operate and control the screed on the asphalt paver
• Set and maintain proper depth, width, and slope
• Monitor mat quality and make adjustments as needed
• Communicate constantly with the Paver Operator and crew
• Maintain equipment and perform daily safety checks
• Uphold C.R. Jackson’s standards for quality and safety

• Proven experience as a Screed Operator
• Strong understanding of grade control and asphalt placement
