Summary
Conduct maintenance and repairs on building components and workstations to ensure that there is no interruption of service during business hours.

Location:
This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located onsite at 105 New Way Road Columbia, SC 29223.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of plumbing, lighting, masonry, and carpentry areas.
- Assemble, relocate, and repair modular of office furniture and equipment.
- Coordinate with project leaders to support 3R process.
- Respond to emergency calls after normal working hours.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
Work Experience:
4 Years general maintenance. - Required Specialized Training :
Journeyman's card may substitute 3 of the 4 years of required experience. - Required
Skills and Abilities:
Good judgment. - Customer service skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Required Software and Other Tools:
Standard office equipment.
Work Environment:
Occasional exposure to noise, dust or heat. Some out of town travel occurs. Physical effort such as heavy lifting (50 pounds).
- Preferred Specialized Training:
Vocational school; construction, trades, mechanical or related. - Preferred
Work Experience:
3 Years-Facility/general maintenance, heating/air conditioning and installation of modular furniture. - Preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Training from a system furniture manufacturer or ability to acquire knowledge of inventory procedures. - Preferred Licenses and Certificates:
Journeyman's card.
