Maintenance Technician II

Simpson Housing LLLP is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support daily operations at our multifamily apartment community. In this resident-focused role, you will complete work orders, perform routine and preventive maintenance, and assist with capital projects to ensure safe, attractive, and fully functioning buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include HVAC troubleshooting, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, appliance maintenance, carpentry, and unit turns.

You will respond to emergency calls, partner closely with the onsite team, maintain accurate records, and uphold high standards of service, safety, and professionalism for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
• Maintain and repair appliances, fixtures, and interior finishes
• Support unit turns, including inspection, repairs, and punch lists
• Assist with capital and improvement projects as directed
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating basis
• Maintain maintenance logs, parts inventory, and service records
• Ensure property grounds, common areas, and amenities are well maintained
• Adhere to safety standards, codes, and company maintenance procedures
