Location: Columbia

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking an HVAC Installation Tech to install residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. You'll perform replacements, ductwork, start-ups, and equipment testing while following all safety and code requirements. Work directly with customers to explain work performed and ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with team members and apprentices, maintain tools and vehicles, and complete accurate job documentation. ARS/Rescue Rooter offers year-round work, strong technical training, a safety-first culture, and clear paths for advancement into lead and supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

  • Install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, and accessories to company and code standards.
  • Perform equipment start-up, testing, and commissioning to verify safe and efficient operation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite and company vehicle.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about work performed, options, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Interpret job plans, blueprints, and work orders to complete installations accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with installers and apprentices, providing guidance and supporting a team-based environment.
  • Complete required documentation, including installation forms, checklists, and material usage.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and supervisors to prioritize jobs and ensure timely project completion.
