As a Residential Handyperson, we call Property Engineer’s (PE), you’ll be the face of AA, representing our values and commitment to residents and the community. The deal, up front:

• Guaranteed 40 hours – if the work orders run short, we pay you anyway
• $0.76/mile covering gas + vehicle wear (you drive your own truck or van)
• Quarterly bonus tied to your performance – your bonus is math, not politics
• Health 90% covered for you day one, 100% you + 50% dependents from year two
• 2 weeks PTO to start, growing every year to 3
• Top of the pay range goes to EPA Universal + strong plumbing crossover

As a Turn PE, you’ll play a key role in ensuring tenant satisfaction by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining homes. You’ll proactively identify and address issues, setting the standard for our relationship with tenants through excellent service and communication.

• Perform general maintenance and repairs with a primary focus on property turnovers (“turns”)
• Emphasis on general Carpentry (painting, cleaning, laying LVP, sheetrock, drywall, etc.)
• Trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred but not required
• Travel from home to home within your metro daily
• Conduct property inspections, secure homes, and complete vacancy/wellness checks.
• Handle minor pre-renovation repairs, utility inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
• Manage move-in/out meetings and property turnovers.
• Ability to "Turn" homes (repairing/light renovation to home from one tenant to the next) a must
• Maintain and document property conditions using handheld technology (e.g., iPad, iPhone).

• 3+ years hands-on residential maintenance (painting, cleaning, carpentry)
• Your own truck or van and your own hand tools (tool reimbursement + $0.76/mile)
• Valid driver's license; live within reasonable distance of city
• Background check; crawlspaces, slab houses, 50 lbs

Big plus: HVAC / Electric / Plumbing experience.
