Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Columbia

Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd Shift (2:30
-11:00 p.m.). This role is critical to ensuring our equipment and facilities operate efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You’ll DoPerform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective repairs.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment.

Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations in maintenance processes.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Technical

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Problem-Solving:
Ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in maintenance or industrial mechanics are a plus.

Skills:

Basic industrial math to include metric system of weights and measurements. Ability to use micrometer. Working knowledge of bore gauging and dial indicators.
