Maintenance Worker, Building Maintenance, General Labor

• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound
• Perform minor repairs or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles
• Hang doors, install door locks, and replace broken windowpanes
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Touch up painting and patch walls
• Work with team members to maintain the facility grounds and upkeep
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Perform preventive maintenance requirements on equipment as they pertain to the position

• GED or High School Graduate
• 3 years’ experience doing general maintenance work in a commercial facility
• Experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment
• Experience hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken window panes preferred but not required
• Able to understand verbal or written direction from lead, supervisor or other craftsmen
• Attendance is required to be successful
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, and perform constant arm extensions
• Must be able to pass a local background check
