Industrial Electrician Foreman

We are seeking an Industrial Electrician Foreman to oversee and assist electrical teams during various industrial tasks, including construction, maintenance, plant modifications, and shutdowns. This position functions as a working lead, meaning you will be expected to perform hands‑on tasks, provide direct field support, and troubleshoot alongside your crew.

Standard Schedule

• Standard project operations typically follow a Monday through Thursday work week.
• A consistent 4x10 hour shift structure is standard.
• Expectations include potential overtime, weekend work, night shifts, and travel to support outages or specific project deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of Journeyman Electricians, Helpers, and other support staff to ensure project success.
• Engage in hands‑on tool work to help maintain production standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
• Execute the installation of industrial electrical infrastructure, including conduit, cable trays, switch gear, VFDs, and complex control wiring.
• Interpret technical documentation such as electrical schematics, one‑line diagrams, and equipment specifications to guide installation.
• Provide essential support for facility maintenance, commissioning, and capital projects to ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including mechanical, rigging, and structural crews, to streamline project workflows.
• Monitor site productivity, material usage, and safety compliance to mitigate risks and maintain high‑quality standards.

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of professional experience within the industrial electrical sector.
• Possession of a valid Journeyman Electrician license as mandated by local regulations or project specifications.
• Demonstrated history of successfully managing electrical teams and organizing field operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards, alongside expertise in 480V systems and motor controls.
• Technical proficiency in PLC/HMI interfaces and panel support to assist with system commissioning and start‑ups.
• Proven ability to foster a culture of safety and clear communication to ensure team alignment and client satisfaction.

Physical Requirements and Environment

• Frequent work within active industrial plants, construction sites, and outdoor settings.
• Capability to utilize necessary PPE and navigate challenging physical environments, including climbing ladders and working on elevated platforms.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds while performing necessary electrical repairs.
• Adherence to strict safety protocols when working near energized equipment to ensure a secure environment for all personnel.
