Walker White Mechanical, a trusted leader in
HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal fabrication
in the Greater Columbia, SC area, is now accepting applications for our
2026 Entry-Level Apprenticeship Program
. This
four-year paid apprenticeship
provides hands‑on, classroom, and on‑the‑job training in
Sheet Metal, Plumbing, HVAC, and/or Pipe fitting
, setting you up for a long‑term, rewarding career in the skilled trades.

• Starting pay of$18/hour

• All training, books, and education are
  100% paid for
• No tuition. No student loans.

• Work side-by-side with experienced tradespeople
• Learn on real projects using industry-standard tools and equipment

• Skilled trades are in high demand
• Clear career paths with long-term job security

• Hiring
  up to 30 apprentices
• Start dates available
  now through September 2026

• Assist journeymen and experienced professionals on HVAC, plumbing, pipe fitting, and sheet metal projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and materials
• Follow all job-site safety standards and protocols
• Build the technical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills needed for a successful career over the next four years

• High school seniors or recent graduates (we’ll work around your graduation schedule)
• Individuals with
  little or no experience
  —we provide all training
• Anyone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and building something tangible
