Role Overview

We are seeking a lead technician to oversee site maintenance, prioritizing industrial electrical diagnostics, system reliability, and maximizing equipment availability. Proficiency in mechanical maintenance is also essential for this role.

Essential Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience diagnosing industrial electrical issues.
• A minimum of 3 years of expertise in analyzing and utilizing electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring layouts.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve issues with:
• Systems operating at 120V, 240V, and 480V.
• Three-phase power configurations.
• Motor systems and their associated controls.
• VFDs, contractors, relays, and various sensors.
• Equipment governed by PLCs.
• Comprehensive understanding of LOTO protocols and general electrical safety standards to help maintain a secure environment for the entire team.

Primary Duties

• Direct maintenance workflows and drive reliability initiatives.
• Resolve faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to ensure consistent production.
• Organize and schedule maintenance tasks to reduce operational downtime.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and manage CMMS documentation.
• Analyze electrical diagrams to assist with new equipment installations.
• Supervise spare parts stock, project tasks, and external contractors.
• Contribute to capital improvement projects and assist with maintenance budget management to support departmental goals.

Desired Background

• Hands‑on experience with PLC diagnostics (such as Siemens or Allen‑Bradley).
• Relevant electrical certifications or a technical degree.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or maintenance leadership capacity.

Candidate Requirements

This role centers on electrical troubleshooting; therefore, applicants must possess at least 3 years of industrial electrical diagnostic experience alongside 3 years of experience interpreting schematics. Please note that meeting these specific criteria is mandatory, and candidates lacking this background will not be considered, even if they possess extensive mechanical maintenance skills.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $38 - $40, with flexibility based on your professional experience.
