Overview

About Play is seeking an Early Interventionist to serve in multiple areas of South Carolina. The role supports families and children ages birth to six years who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Florence, Darlington, Marion, Lake City, Olanta and surrounding areas. Coordinates with the counties listed and nearby communities in South Carolina.

• Work with children birth to six years old and provide early intervention services.
• Collaborate with families to support developmental goals and family empowerment.
• Maintain timely documentation and manage caseloads with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Engage in on-the-job training as needed and stay current with best practices in early intervention.

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old (prior early intervention experience preferred).
• Preferred: prior early interventionist, teaching, and early child development experience; or a recent and upcoming college graduate with a related degree and willingness for on-the-job training.
• Driver's license with reliable transportation; CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.

• Location requirement: must reside in the listed counties or surrounding areas in South Carolina.
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Willingness to travel: up to 75% (on the road).
• Salary: $35,000 per year plus mileage reimbursement.
