Location: Columbia

We are seeking a School Psychologist for a contract position in a vibrant educational environment near Columbia, SC. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering positive student development, working across multiple school sites, and collaborating with engaged educational teams. The position runs for a full NSY (normal school year) and offers a steady weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

Your responsibilities will include providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services to students of varying age groups; collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff; and contributing your expertise to create supportive learning atmospheres. Youll have access to virtual, casual panel interviews, allowing a relaxed and flexible hiring process.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license required
  • Experience with psycho educational evaluations and appropriate interventions
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Familiarity with special education laws, processes, and multi-tiered supports
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive school climates

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to identified students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding students needs
  • Provide crisis intervention, behavior management, and counseling support as required
  • Maintain accurate records and follow district processes for compliance
